"West Texas Atlatl Cache" was written and published as the cover story in Texas Cache Volume 5 #2 in 1999 by Bob McWilliams. Tony Reyes (pictured) made claims of two atlatls found in a West Texas cave by Benicio Arriaga between 1991 and 1999 along with perishable relics and paleolithic projectile points. Texas Cache received a report in 2024 that these two atlatls were actually found in Mexico, not Texas. Here is the article as it appeared in 1999.
